More than 200 Scouts gathered at Saugus High School on Jan. 31 for the Bill Hart Merit Badge Midway, hosted by the Western Los Angeles County Council of Scouting America. Participants completed 38 different classes and collectively earned 413 merit badges during the daylong event. Organizers expressed gratitude to the volunteers, leaders and parents who helped make the program possible.
