Summary
My goal is to find a position in a fast-paced environment that will utilize the skills I have developed working in one of the most competitive media markets in the world.
Since 2008, I have worked as a substitute teacher in the William S. Hart and Saugus Union school districts.
In addition to working as a substitute teacher, I am an AYSO soccer coach. I coached a VIP team, for special needs kids, for the past three seasons. I coached a U6 team, for boys 6 years and younger, in the fall, primarily because my youngest son started playing his first season.
Before I started teaching, I was a newspaper journalist. My last job in newspapers was as a sports writer and page designer for the Los Angeles Daily News.
I started working as a freelance writer after I stopped working for the Daily News. I write for ESPN LA.com, NASCAR.com, Patch.com, the K&N website and the LA ****es Sports Now blog. I also freelance for a number of newspapers in Southern California.

Specialties
I am extremely computer literate. I have used a number of design programs as a news editor for the LA Daily News, Glendale News-Press, Antelope Valley Press and The Signal newspapers. I am proficient in Word software, PhotoShop and other photo editing software, MovieMaker video editing software and Flip video editing software.
I have completed Spark physical education training for Grades 3-6.
I have radio broadcasting experience and I produced online content for ESPN, NASCAR and KHTS AM 1220.
