Director, Advertising and Social Media

Position Description:
Under the direction of the Vice President, Public Information, Advocacy and External Relations, manages the creation of the district's overall marketing, advertising and social media strategies. Executes key elements of these plans by direct supervision, planning, evaluation, production and delivery of district print, online, television and radio advertising. Oversees general district publicity and advertising activities in support of the full range of college departments as the needs arise. Provides supervision of the college’s switchboard/mailroom and assigned staff. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience:
Four (4) years of full-time equivalent public relations/public information, advertising, or marketing/communications experience developing and implementing public information/public relations programs
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, English, Public Relations, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
