Sales Associate/Beauty Advisor - Santa Clarita Job

This Sales Associate/Beauty Advisor will be responsible for promoting and maintaining quality customer service; performing sales of retail items to our guests, maintaining retail area cleanliness, merchandise display units, accepting payments, providing information and knowledge of skincare and makeup products.
•Offers friendly, knowledgeable and courteous service. Understands that guest service is the top priority
•Ability to work independently
•Maintains part time work schedule
•Answers phones with proper etiquette to ensure guest service
•Ensures that all retail area is clean and items are priced and displayed properly
•Determines each guest’s needs and answers questions concerning products and services. If necessary, partners with management to ensure the guest’s needs are met.
•Informs guests of current promotions, events and services within the store.
•While serving guests, recommends additional and complementary products and/or services based on information provided by the guest or items already selected for purchase.
•Informs owner of all guest issues, needed supplies or equipment related issues
•Opens and or closes the store area appropriately
•Accurately processes all cash and credit card transactions

Skills Required:

•Minimum 1 year retail experience, preferably in a cosmetic environment
•At least 1 year of experience as a cashier.
•Excellent customer service skills.
•Professional appearance and demeanor.
•Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
•High School diploma or equivalent.
•Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
•Knowledgeable of skincare and cosmetic products
