Help Wanted: Sales Manager Needed - Retail
Manpower is seeking ambitious Retail Sales Managers for a direct hire position with a Fortune 100 retailer!

We'll look to you to develop, challenge, and drive your team of Sales Specialists to deliver "Best In Class" service through the recruiting, coaching, developing and mentoring of individual sales team members. As the Sales Leader and Subject Matter Expert, you will encourage your team to maximize sales, expand profit margins, and increase fill rates, through your knowledge of sales management techniques.

Strong sales management experience managing a sales team
Motivated by seeing your sales staff develop and grow
Have extensive experience in recruiting, hiring, training, developing and mentoring people
Great at building relationships and negotiating skillfully to meet objectives

Responsibilities:
Recruiting, selection and hiring of the sales team
Coaching, mentoring, and training with continued monitoring of the individuals on the sales team to maximize sales, margin, close rates and average tickets
Be the Sales Leader and subject matter expert on our selling model and sales opportunities
Must have extensive knowledge of sales management techniques (e.g., role playing, building customer relationships, typical sales interactions, overcoming objections, qualifying a customer, feature/benefit selling, value propositioning) and be able to teach others the critical skills needed for effective selling
Skills Required:
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of experience leading an outside sales team OR 3 years of experience leading an outside sales team
1 year of management and people leadership experience in retail (including: drug store, grocery, hard lines or general merchandise)
Experience recruiting, training, and developing a sales team
Experience working in a cross-functional work environment
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:
5 years of experience managing direct reports in a retail or consumer service industry
Experience working in the home improvement retail sector
Experience working in a fast paced, dynamic retail environment
Broad Knowledge of interior/exterior product categories

Work Schedule:
Requires morning, afternoon and evening availability any day of the week
Required to work a corporate schedule determined by Staffing Department but may be changed by store management based on the needs of the store.
Requests to be scheduled off for a specific day require advanced notification and approval by supervisor.

Employee - Full Time
Compensation:
Salaried: Generally scheduled for 48 hours; more hours may be required based on the needs of the store.
