Culinary Arts Instructor (Restaurant Operations)

Position Description: College of the Canyons is seeking a faculty leader in the area of Culinary Arts. This is a professional, tenure-track position beginning in the spring 2015 semester. The position may include a combination of teaching, department, college, and community leadership functions. The faculty member will assist in the design of the culinary arts curriculum and will support the overall development and growth of the program and achievement of related performance standards. Assignment may include day, evening, and weekend duties at all District sites.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline plus equivalent of two (2) years full-time professional experience within the Culinary Arts discipline or the equivalent.*
OR
Associate’s degree in any discipline plus equivalent of six (6) years full-time professional experience within the Culinary Arts discipline or the equivalent.*
*Applicants who meet equivalent qualifications must also submit a Request for Equivalency Form.
