Help Wanted: Aerospace Heavy Assembly II
Assemble mechanical units or fabricated parts at bench to make relatively large or heavy subassemblies or complete units using hand tools, jigs, fixtures, and miscellaneous light power tools and equipment. Fit, align, calibrate and adjust parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements.
Essential Functions:
- Use hand tools to assemble complex parts in accordance with engineering specifications and procedures.
1. Inspect parts using quality inspection tools such as calipers.
2.Complete first articles, data sheets and non-conformance reports.
3. Test and calibrate parts in accordance with acceptance test procedures.
4.Understand and maintain "work instructions" and "router notes".
5.May assist in orienting and training of lower level employees.
6.Complies with all DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.
7.Uses all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required.

Skills Required:
Qualifications:
- Education consisting of a high school diploma/GED and a minimum of one (1) or two (2) years of related experience in lieu of education.
1. Ability to inspect assemblies using quality inspection tools.
2. Ability to read blue prints and routers.
3. Perform a variety of tasks safely throughout the day in a fast paced work environment.
4. Interact constructively and effectively with all plant employees.
5. Ability to work in a team environment toward a common goal.
6. Reacts to change productively and to handle other tasks as assigned.
7. Maintains a pattern of regular and predictable attendance.
Certifications/Licenses/Registrations:
A & P License preferred
1st shift 6:00am-2:30pm this position is temporary.
