DILIGENT DELIVERY SYSTEMS is currently seeking a LOGISTICS COORDINATOR for our Freight Forwarding Operations in Valencia, California. Job duties will include (but are not limited to)
• Daily quoting, management and coordination of shipments
• Establish and coordinate schedule with carrier and tender shipments
• Track and trace all shipments
• Confirm rates with carriers
• Evaluate shipments, consolidate loads, and select most cost effective method of delivery
• Prepare export and commercial documents
• Update and maintain logistics software
• Proactively identify problems and swiftly implement appropriate solutions
• Answer and resolve billing questions when needed
• Daily communications with customers on relevant issues and resolution

Skills Required:

We are looking for candidates who have a minimum of 2 years experience, preferably in the Transportation or Logistics Industry. The right candidate will possess effective communication skills, strong customer service skills, problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities. The right candidate must be proficient in MS Office, Excel, and Outlook for e-mail purposes. We are looking for a team oriented individual with an attention to detail and accuracy.
