Job Description: MECHANICAL DESIGNER
Technifex has been creating custom special effects equipment for over 20 years. We are a growing company in a growing industry. We are searching for an individual that thrives in a continuous creative environment, and who is willing to share ideas for design improvement and growth opportunities.

- Responsibilities: Work as part of the Design Engineering team specializing in custom parts and assemblies; Work with vendors and internal manufacturing personnel during the design phase to ensure manufacturability; create cost estimates based on your design. Must be able to plan & schedule resources to finish jobs on time; Proper documentation of the above.

Skills Required:

- Qualifications: 2-4 years experience in 3D modeling, Isometric, Piping & Instrument, and process system application drawings; Demonstrates high level of skill in 3D modeling (Solid Works), AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; Works well individually and as a team member; Able to meet deadlines; Excellent communication skills; Track record of innovation, willing to try new things; Familiar with lean manufacturing. Experience in the themed entertainment industry a plus.
