The Santa Clarita Valley Signal is looking for a motivated multimedia account executive to help drive its multimedia sales team to a new level of award-winning success.
We are looking for a person who is dynamic and creative in building and selling advertising packages including web, print, and mobile content. The successful candidate will be able to assess advertisers' specific needs and build lasting relationships.
In joining our team, the successful candidate will join a progressive and creative multimedia team looking to change the face of journalism in Southern California. You will be selling a variety of online-based programs with print components, including video shows, podcasts, online contests and more. In addition, an ideal candidate will be comfortable in front of the camera and willing to take on new challenges as a possible host for new and exciting programs.
An ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong time-management skills as well as a team player. Serving the 250,000 residents and numerous businesses in and around the Santa Clarita Valley, your clients will range from national corporations to small local establishments.
Prior sales experience is a must, and experience in front of the camera in a multimedia environment is preferred. A bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience is also preferred. Other requirements include excellent verbal communication, computer, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to meet tight deadlines and sales goals.
