Receiving Inspector - Santa Clarita Job

Aerospace manufacturing company seeks Receiving Inspectors for new location. SUMMARY Inspect new or difficult engineering, tooling or precision machined parts and assemblies using inspection standards or requiring measurements to defined tolerances DUTIES: -Plan or select methods or procedures of inspection and setup for prototype, developmental or complex parts and assemblies which must be checked on surface plate in engineering, tooling or precision machined parts area. -Inspect dimensions using a variety of precision measuring instruments including reference and transfer standards working to required tolerances. - Inspect complex machined parts involving accumulated dimensions, precision tolerances or irregularly machined surfaces using surface plate setup and precision measuring instruments. -Determine machine ability of part and availability of material for further machining on parts where surfaces require coordination in at least two planes. - Stamp or otherwise approve acceptable work.
