Systems Engineer-Electromechanical Actuators - Santa Clarita Job

The Systems Engineer – Electromechanical Actuators will provide technical management, establish and manage the system requirements, system design, and overall performance to contract on one or more electro-mechanical position control actuation system programs for Turret Control, Precision Guided Munitions, Aircraft, Stabilization System or similar programs. The Position will have responsibility for all program phases. Will initiate or carry out analysis tasks, as necessary to ensure specification performance and integration compliance.

Skills Required:

•Must have project or solid overall system engineering experience working with electromechanical actuation systems in an aerospace environment or with similar products.
•Minimum of five years in system design, analysis and development in the electromechanical actuators market desired.
•Strong communication capabilities
•Experience in leading a technical team
•Experience with Aerospace test environment is a plus.
•Familiarity with MS Excel, MathCAD, MS Project and CAD is essential.
•Specific experience with military turret systems, missile control systems or Aircraft flight control or stabilization systems is desirable.
BSEE or equivalent engineering degree required. Masters degree is preferred.
