Chemist III - Analytical - Santa Clarita Job

Test actives using the various instruments (HPLC,AA,GC,UV-VIS,TOC) according to established and official methods. Develop and validate methods if official methods are not available. Assist in the validation of test methods and investigates OOS conditions. Complies with Good Lab Practices. Prepare and maintain standard solutions, reagents and lab records pertaining to area. Maintain lab notebooks, daily receipts and reports pertaining to area. Maintain good housekeeping in work area including proper disposal of waste chemicals and products. Support QC, Stability, and R&D. Assist with physical inventory counts as requested.

Skills Required:

B.S. Chemistry / Minimum 2 years related HPLC experience. Must have good visual/organoleptic alertness, knowledge of instrumentation, and experience with wet chemistry. Work is performed in a FDA and DEA regulated pharmaceutical lab environment.
